Ham and Chicken Lasagna

Ingredients
- 350 gr Lasagna
- 350 gr Diced cooked chicken
- 350 gr Diced cooked ham
- 125 gr Chopped button mushrooms
- 5 ml Sage
- 30 ml Chopped Parsley
- Salt and ground black pepper
- 200 gr Grated Cheddar cheese
- 2 ml Paprika
- [b]Bechamel sauce[/b]
- 2 Thick onion slices
- 2 Bay leaves
- 4 Parsley sprigs
- 1 lt Milk
- 90 ml Butter
- 175 gr Flour
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180 C
- [b]Sauce[/b]
- Place the onion, bay leaves and parsley in a saucepan
- Add the milk and heat slowly to a rapid boil
- Remove from heat and cover
- Set aside for 45 minutes
- Strain the milk into a bowl
- In a clean pan melt the butter and stir in the flour
- Slowly add the milk stirring until sauce boils, then cook for 3 minutes
- Season to taste
- Set aside 1/3 of the sauce
- Mix chicken,ham, parley and sage with the rest of the sauce
- Layer the sauce and lasagna with lasagna to finish on top
- Stir the cheese into the reserved sauce and spread on top
- Sprinkle with paprika and top with breadcrumbs
- Bake for 40 to 50 minutes until golden
