Hot Asparagus pie

Ingredients
  • 1 Large tin asparagus
  • 3 Tbs Butter
  • 3 Tbs Spoon Flour
  • 50 gr Butter
  • 1/2 Cup cream
  • 1 Cup grated cheese
  • 1 Small packet plain crisps
  • 1/2 Tsp Cayenne pepper
  • Salt / Pepper
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 200 C
  2. Drain the asparagus, reserving the liquid
  3. Place the asparagus in a buttered dish
  4. Melt the butter in a saucepan
  5. When bubbling add the flour and remove from the stove
  6. Stir in the asparagus liquid a little at a time
  7. Return to the stove and stir continually until thickened
  8. Add the cream and seasoning
  9. Pour mixture over asparagus and sprinkle with the cheese
  10. Crush crisps and sprinkle over the top
  11. Bake for 15 minutes till golden brown
