Hot Asparagus pie

Ingredients
- 1 Large tin asparagus
- 3 Tbs Butter
- 3 Tbs Spoon Flour
- 50 gr Butter
- 1/2 Cup cream
- 1 Cup grated cheese
- 1 Small packet plain crisps
- 1/2 Tsp Cayenne pepper
- Salt / Pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200 C
- Drain the asparagus, reserving the liquid
- Place the asparagus in a buttered dish
- Melt the butter in a saucepan
- When bubbling add the flour and remove from the stove
- Stir in the asparagus liquid a little at a time
- Return to the stove and stir continually until thickened
- Add the cream and seasoning
- Pour mixture over asparagus and sprinkle with the cheese
- Crush crisps and sprinkle over the top
- Bake for 15 minutes till golden brown
