Hungarian Potato Bake

Ingredients
- 60 ml Butter
- 2 Large Onions (Thickly Sliced)
- 1 Clove Garlic (Crushed)
- 125 ml Chopped Ham
- 30 ml Fresh Parsley (Chopped)
- Salt/ground Pepper to Taste
- 7 ml Paprika
- 500 g Cooked Potatoes (Sliced)
- 250 ml Sour Cream
- 1 Egg
- 150 ml Cheddar Cheese (Grated)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180 C
- Grease ovenproof dish with butter
- Heat the butter in a frying pan and fry the onions till soft
- Add the garlic and fry
- Add the ham, parsley, salt, pepper, nutmeg and paprika and mix
- Add the potatoes and fry them lightly
- Spoon the mixture into the prepared dish
- Lightly beat the sour cream and egg and pour over the potatoes
- Sprinkle with the cheese and bake for 30-40 min until golden brown
