Ingredients
  • 60 ml Butter
  • 2 Large Onions (Thickly Sliced)
  • 1 Clove Garlic (Crushed)
  • 125 ml Chopped Ham
  • 30 ml Fresh Parsley (Chopped)
  • Salt/ground Pepper to Taste
  • 7 ml Paprika
  • 500 g Cooked Potatoes (Sliced)
  • 250 ml Sour Cream
  • 1 Egg
  • 150 ml Cheddar Cheese (Grated)
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 180 C
  2. Grease ovenproof dish with butter
  3. Heat the butter in a frying pan and fry the onions till soft
  4. Add the garlic and fry
  5. Add the ham, parsley, salt, pepper, nutmeg and paprika and mix
  6. Add the potatoes and fry them lightly
  7. Spoon the mixture into the prepared dish
  8. Lightly beat the sour cream and egg and pour over the potatoes
  9. Sprinkle with the cheese and bake for 30-40 min until golden brown
