Ingredients
- 1 Tin apricot jam
- 500 Gram self raising flour
- 250 Gram margarine
- 1 Tsp vanilla essence
- 2 Eggs
- 1 Cup sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200 C
- Beat together the margarine, sugar, vanilla and eggs
- Add the flour and mix well to form a dough
- Divide the dough into two pieces
- Place one ball of dough in the fridge for 20 minutes
- Roll out other ball of dough in a baking tray
- Spread with apricot jam
- Grate the refrigerated dough over the top of the jam
- Bake for 15 minutes till golden brown
