Ingredients:

For the Pie:

  • 3 teaspoons of Flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Salt
  • 1 can of Condensed milk
  • 1 cup of Water
  • 1/4 teaspoon of Baking powder
  • 2 Egg yolks
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Vanilla essence
  • 3/4 cup of Well-drained peaches, berries, or pineapple

For the Meringue:

  • 2 Egg whites
  • 2 tablespoons of Castor sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon of Baking powder
Instructions:

Preheat and Prepare:
Start by preheating your oven to 180°C (350°F).

Preparing the Pie:
In a mixing bowl, blend the condensed milk with water, followed by the addition of flour and salt.
Mix thoroughly.
Simmer this mixture over low heat in a double boiler for about 12 to 15 minutes until it achieves a slightly thick, glossy consistency.
Take a small portion of the cooked mixture and smoothly combine it with the egg yolks.
Gradually reintroduce this egg mixture back into the remaining mixture on the heat, continuing to stir constantly.
For an added touch of enchantment, incorporate vanilla essence and your choice of well-drained peaches, berries, or pineapple.
