Great addition to a meal. This recipe is for plain fritters, but they can be spiced up with the addition of sweet corn, spring onions or chopped cooked bacon.
Ingredients
  • 125 g Self Raising Flour
  • 5 ml Salt
  • 1 Large Beaten Egg
  • 150 ml Milk
  • Black Pepper
  • 10 ml Oil
  • 20 ml butter
Instructions
  1. Mix Flour, salt and pepper together
  2. Add the egg and milk and mix together well
  3. Heat up the oil and butter in a large pan
  4. Drop spoon fulls of mixture into the oil and fry till golden brown
