Ingredients
  • 60 ml Soya Sauce
  • 5 ml Golden Syrup
  • 2 ml Tabasco Sauce
  • 30 ml Brown Sugar
  • 50 ml Peanut Butter
  • 1 Clove Garlic (Crushed)
  • Juice and Zest of 1 Lemon
  • 750 g Tenderized Steak (Cut int Strips)
  • 5 Spring Onions (Sliced)
  • 200 ml Water
  • 10 ml Oil
Instructions
  1. Mix the water, soya sauce, golden syrup, tabasco sauce, brown sugar, peanut butter, garlic, lemon juice and zest together in a saucepan
  2. Bring to the boil and stir till smooth
  3. Set aside to cool
  4. Marinate the meat strips in the sauce for at least 1 hour
  5. Heat the oil in a large pan and fry the spring onions till crisp
  6. Remove the onions from the oil and set aside
  7. Remove the meat from the marinade and reserve the sauce
  8. Fry the meat in the oil till well browned
  9. Heat the reserved sauce and pour over the meat, top with the spring onions
  10. Serve immediately
