Nutty Whole Wheat Bread

Ingredients
  • 2 1/4 cup Bread flour
  • 1 1/4 Cup Whole Wheat Flour
  • 3/4 Cup Chopped Walnuts
  • 2 tbs Brown Sugar
  • 1 pkt Yeast
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1/3 cup Low Fat Yogurt
  • 2 tbs Butter
Instructions
  1. In a bowl combine 1 cup of the bread flour, whole wheat flour, walnuts, sugar yeast and salt
  2. In a sauce pan heat the water, yogurt and butter to 120 C
  3. Add the dry ingredients and beat until smooth.
  4. Stir in the remaining flour to form a soft dough.
  5. Turn on to a floured surface and knead until smooth and elastic, about 5 min ( Do not let it rise)
  6. Shape the dough into a ball and place on a baking sheet coated with cooking spray
  7. cover and let rest in a warm place for 20 min
  8. Bake at 200 C for 30 min until golden brown
  9. Remove from the pan and cool on a wire rack
