Ingredients
- 150 gr Butter
- 1 kg Chicken breasts (cubed)
- Salt and ground black pepper
- Pinch of cinnamon
- Pinch of allspice
- 2 Onions (chopped)
- 50 ml Tomato puree
- 600 ml Boiling water
- 225 gr Rice
Instructions
- Melt 100 gr butter and brown the chicken pieces for 10 minutes
- Add salt, pepper, cinnamon and allspice stirring well
- Add onions and cook till soft
- Stir in the tomato puree and boiling water
- Cover and cook for 20 minutes
- Add rice , cover and simmer for 20 minutes
- Remove lid and simmer for 5 minutes to absorb liquid
- Melt the 50 gr butter till it browns
- Pour over the chicken
