Ingredients
  • 60 gram Butter
  • 60 gram Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Syrup
  • 60 gram Flour
  • 1 tsp Ground ginger
  • 2 tsp Lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup Double cream
Instructions
  1. [b][u]Mixture[/u][/b]
  2. Add butter, sugar and syrup to a pan and cook over a low heat till melted
  3. Sift together the flour and ginger and add to the melted mixture
  4. Add the lemon juice
  5. [b][u]Method[/u] [/b]
  6. Drop 4 tsp of mixture on a large buttered baking try
  7. Drop well apart to allow for spreading
  8. Bake in the centre of the oven for 8 minutes
  9. Leave for 1 minute
  10. Lift of with a palette knife
  11. Roll quickly and loosely around the buttered handle of a wooden spoon
  12. Leave till firm then slide off
  13. Repeat with the rest of the mixture
  14. When cold fill both ends of each with stiffly whipped cream
