Ingredients
  • [b]Syrup[/b]
  • 200gr Sugar
  • 250 ml Water
  • [b]Cake[/b]
  • 140 g Flour (not sifted)
  • 30 ml baking powder
  • 250 g Butter or Margerine
  • 125 ml Sugar
  • 200 gr Dark chocolate
  • 5 eggs
  • 30 ml Brandy
  • [b]Icing[/b]
  • 300g Wholenut chocolate
  • 40 ml Milk
Instructions
  1. Grease inside of 25 cm cake tin (angel Tin) with butter or margerine
  2. preheat oven to 180° c
[b]Syrup[/b]
  1. Heat water to boiling point
  2. Add suger, stir till sugar is melted
  3. Leave to get cold
[b]Cake[/b]
  1. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together
  2. Melt butter or Margerine, sugar and dark chocolate over boiling water
  3. Pour into mixing bowl
  4. Add eggs one at a time beating all the time, beat well
  5. After each egg is added add Brandy beating well
  6. Fold the flour mixture into choc mixture ( dough is very thin)
  7. Pour into Cake tin
  8. bake for 40-45 min till done
  9. Remove from oven and pour syrup over hot cake
  10. Leave in cake tin to cool
  11. Turn out onto plate
[b]Icing[/b]
  1. Melt nut chocolate and milk over low heat
  2. Pour over cake
Notes
Baking powder looks a lot but its right
