Super Chocolate Cake

Ingredients
- [b]Syrup[/b]
- 200gr Sugar
- 250 ml Water
- [b]Cake[/b]
- 140 g Flour (not sifted)
- 30 ml baking powder
- 250 g Butter or Margerine
- 125 ml Sugar
- 200 gr Dark chocolate
- 5 eggs
- 30 ml Brandy
- [b]Icing[/b]
- 300g Wholenut chocolate
- 40 ml Milk
Instructions
- Grease inside of 25 cm cake tin (angel Tin) with butter or margerine
- preheat oven to 180° c
[b]Syrup[/b]
- Heat water to boiling point
- Add suger, stir till sugar is melted
- Leave to get cold
[b]Cake[/b]
- Sift flour, baking powder and salt together
- Melt butter or Margerine, sugar and dark chocolate over boiling water
- Pour into mixing bowl
- Add eggs one at a time beating all the time, beat well
- After each egg is added add Brandy beating well
- Fold the flour mixture into choc mixture ( dough is very thin)
- Pour into Cake tin
- bake for 40-45 min till done
- Remove from oven and pour syrup over hot cake
- Leave in cake tin to cool
- Turn out onto plate

- Melt nut chocolate and milk over low heat
- Pour over cake
