Ingredients
- 3 cups Brown sugar
- 4 Eggs
- 3/4 cup Oil
- 4 cups Digestive bran
- Pinch of salt
- 250 gram Seedless raisins
- 4 cups Milk
- 5 cups Flour
- 5 tsp Bicarbonate of soda
- 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
Instructions
- Cream the eggs and sugar together till thick and creamy
- Add oil and beat well
- Add Bran and mix
- Add milk and mix
- Add flour and mix
- Add raisins and mix
- Add bicarbonate of soda, salt and vanilla essence and mix
- Leave the mixture in the fridge overnight
- Preheat the oven to 180 C
- Place dollops on a baking tray and bake for 20 minutes
- (Uncooked mixture will keep in the fridge for up to 6 weeks)
